This special cap was introduced in the early 1930’s and served as the basis for the M-43 design. It has a noticably shorter visor and higher crown, giving it a very distinctive style. Our Officer’s model is made of the finest vailable Trikot wool and trimmed in aluminum-silver woven piping. Features grey cotton lining, partial sweatband in genuine leather, and 2 orginal, pre-1945 “Steinnuss” buttons. Typical of higher quality caps, they include the wartime Bevo maker tag, “Robert Lubstein, Berlin, N.O. 55, EREL Sonderklasse”.
